Masterclass – Enabling and developing your future workforce for the digital age

The KIN Center for Digital Innovation of Vrije Universiteit and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) are joining forces to deliver a master class on “future proofing” your workforce for the digital age. Join us on Friday, April 12; 13:00-17:00, to learn how digitalization provides opportunities and challenges for enabling and developing your employees’ skills and expertise as well as for how to attract, enable, and retain their digital talents.
You will work with MIT professor Prof. Kristine Dery to learn how the Employee Experience is essential for attracting, enabling and retaining your digital talent, which is crucial for creating business value in the digital age. You will use her benchmarking tool to identify how your organization is performing and learn from her numerous international business cases to find ways to improve your employee experience.
In the second part of the master class Dr. Mohammad Rezezade Mehrizi from the KIN Center for Digital Innovation will introduce the expertise pyramid model as a novel, scientific methodology for assessing and planning the development of digital skills and capabilities. Do your employees have the right skills & expertise for the digital era, which skills and expertise they need to develop for their future professional career and how can they develop them in line with their competences?
In an optional follow-up session to this master class, you can put the expertise pyramid into action and make an action-plan on how to renew professional skills in the digital age. More details on this will be announced later.
